ALLConverter to iPhone is a free video converter for Windows. It allows you to convert video files to one of the formats that the iPhone and other iOS devices can play natively: H.264. This format is also playable on several other mobile devices and pretty much every modern computer.
The converter has a very original user interface, which resembles an actual iPhone. There aren't any options to play with. You simply add a file to the interface and select one of two quality settings: high or low. Then the application will start converting the file and showing you snapshots of the movie while it is converting.
As far as format support goes, I can't say for sure how many formats are supported because neither the application nor the developer's website makes any statement about that. I tested it with two different files, a DivX AVI file and an MKV file. It opened both files just fine and converted them pretty well. Since MKV is supported, I would say that most standard formats will be supported.
The quality of the converted file was very good in both cases, and I didn't experience any problems with audio or video.
